For a moment, she witnessed eternity. Time across eons all condensed into a single, sharp breath. A simple inhalation--the last she ever expected to take--and suddenly she found herself transported into the future. Over 1,500 years had passed since the time of her existence. The Seal had broken and Diabolos was free again. But history had forgotten Reishi... and so had she.When Reishi awoke in the ruins of her home, she could scarce remember more than her own name. She wore the dilapidated clothing of an Arch White Mage; through similar clues, she slowly pieced together the fuzzy fragments until she understood what had happened to her. However, one thing she couldn't account for were the clear physiological changes that had affected her being while sealed away with Diabolos.During her imprisonment alongside the Voidsent General, Reishi's soul had become corrupted by the Void. Close proximity to such a powerful Voidsent had left her bereft of her memories and most of her soul, leaving her to find a way forward without knowing who or what she had been.
Redemption
Over time, the lost Viera slowly recovered her memories, piece by piece. She was a White Mage, once. She was a wife, once. She had been beloved by her people, until everything had been stripped away.Now, the smallest fragment of her former self lives on, clinging desperately to whatever life remains, but without hope to guide to her.With Amdapor lost to time and her memories partially recovered, Reishi no longer has any roots or connections to tie her down. She no longer sees the world the way she once did; it has become a cold and hollow void filled with death and rot and disappointment. So, she wanders like a ghost between the realms, searching for things to make her feel alive for even a moment more...or the one thing that might finally bring her end.
